I have been working in interactive design for nearly 30 years.
My journey began with formal education at a specialized High School of Arts, where I studied Graphic Design, followed by graduating from the Academy of Arts with a degree in Graphic Design.
Interactive design is a discipline in which users actively engage with visual experiences through clickable elements and meaningful interaction. In other words, it is the foundation of modern web design.
I have been designing user interfaces and creating user experiences since the early days of the modern web. Back then, the Internet and websites were much simpler. Most websites served as little more than digital business cards, presenting basic company information without much depth or functionality.
At that time, it was difficult to imagine what the Internet would eventually become - a technology that would fundamentally transform how people live, communicate, work, learn, and do business. Today, that vision has become reality.
The modern Internet has evolved into a virtual world that follows many of the same principles as the physical world. As a result, web design, branding, corporate identity, digital marketing, and promotional materials all require careful research, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of both business goals and user behavior before any design work begins.
Industries I have worked in
Throughout my career, I have gained this experience by working on real-world projects across a wide variety of industries, including:
- Online Betting
- Tourism & Hospitality
- Gaming & eGaming
- Real Estate
- Sports
- Digital Marketing
- Entertainment
- Graphic Design
- Legal Services
- Finance
- Multimedia Software
- and many others
My knowledge has not been acquired simply by attending courses or learning isolated skills. It has been built through decades of hands-on experience, working directly with clients, agencies, and companies on real commercial projects.
Over the years, I have collaborated with businesses across the United States, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and South America, giving me the opportunity to understand different industries, cultures, business models, and design challenges.
What these lessons are about
Through the lessons published on this website, my goal is to gradually introduce students to the principles behind professional design.
Together, we will explore questions such as:
- What makes a design truly functional?
- Why is user experience more important than decoration?
- How important is color theory?
- Do you really need to know how to draw or paint to become a designer?
- How do you create effective promotional videos?
- How do successful designers think when solving real business problems?
Whether you are a complete beginner or already have some experience, I hope these lessons will provide practical knowledge, valuable insights, and inspiration that you can apply in your own creative journey.
Thank you for joining me, and I hope you enjoy the lessons as much as I have enjoyed creating them.
